State-run Korea Trade-Investment Agency said Thursday that it will offer visiting consulting services for foreign firms in the country, aiming to boost their investments.
“The consulting service is expected to raise the amount of foreign direct investments in the country, as we will visit foreign firms here and try to solve their difficulties from now on,” the trade agency said.
The Investment Consulting Center consulting team consists of industry experts, lawyers and accountants, according to KOTRA.
The team officially launched its service Thursday in Gumi, North Gyeongsang Province, and consulted foreign firms seeking to start operations in the country, regarding law, tax, accounting and positioning, KOTRA officials said.
The ICC team will offer the service once a month by paying visits to cities nationwide, including Cheonan, South Chungcheong Province; Busan, South Gyeongsang Province; Pyeongtaek, Gyeonggi Province; and Gwangju, South Jeolla Province.
