SK Network launched a black box application for smartphones Wednesday.
The application allows smartphones to act as a black box, recording the surroundings of a vehicle.
According to the company, the application allows more drivers to benefit from the functions of a black box without the additional cost of buying and installing such equipment.
The application also provides the locations of SK gas stations and Speedmate service centers, and includes an emergency call function that connects the user’s phone to a designated number when an accident occurs.
The application is also compatible with SK Telecom’s T-Map navigation service, the company said.
The application is available at SK Telecom’s applications store T-Store and the Apple App Store for $4.99.
