Clazziquai Project returns with second new single

Electro-pop trio to release 10th anniversary studio album

Electro-pop trio Clazziquai Project is gearing up to make a grand return to the music scene by cranking out its 10th anniversary project.

The three members of Clazziquai ― DJ Clazzi, Horan and Alex ― released their latest single “Madly” on Friday, following “Love Satellite” which was unveiled in July. Both singles are preparatory tracks signaling the coming of the group’s 10th anniversary studio album, scheduled to drop in late August.

Stylistically different from “Love Satellite,” “Madly” is a rhythmic song featuring sounds created by DJ Clazzi alongside a synergetic blend of Horan and Alex’s colorful vocals.

The music video for “Madly” was produced by Director Chang, whom the trio has collaborated with on many of its well-known hits including “Sweety” and “After Love.” Chang produced the group’s recent single “Love Satellite” as well.

The new video also features Lee Sun-tae and Chung Hae-min, contestants on dance competition program “Dancing 9,” who seductively dance to the rhythm.

Following the release of its sixth studio album late in August, Clazziquai will hold a celebratory concert called “10th Clazziquai Day” at the YES24 Muv Hall in the Hongdae area in Seoul on Aug. 29.

Clazziquai Project officially debuted in 2004 with its first studio album “Instant Pig.” The trio is best known for its unique and eclectic style that covers jazz-infused ballads and upbeat melodies infused with cutting-edge electronic beats.
