BCCK employment workshop in Seoul

The British Chamber of Commerce in Korea is to hold an employment law workshop on May 31.

The breakfast workshop will explore the latest developments in Korean employment law following recent Supreme Court decisions.

The court recently ruled against Hyundai Motor’s defense of its use of outsourced suppliers, making it liable to employ the workers of the supplier.

The workshop will discuss the business impact of this in terms of outsourcing and wage calculations from a CEO’s perspective.

The event will run from 8-9 a.m. at the Paris Grill at the Grand Hyatt Hotel in Seoul. Participation costs 20,000 won and includes a continental breakfast. Places should be booked by 12 p.m. on May 29 by e-mailing administrator@bcck.or.kr.
