On Thursday, Seoul notified Pyongyang via a border communication channel of its proposal for talks next Thursday on the northern side of the border truce village of Panmunjom, saying the South's three-member delegation will be led by Unification Minister Cho Myoung-gyon.

President Moon Jae-in and North Korean leader Kim Jong-un plan to hold a meeting in late April, the third summit, after meetings in 2000 and 2007.
