[Monitor] Holding companies reap profits from brand use

 



Profits gained by holding companies of conglomerates in South Korea from their affiliates for use of their brand names account for 15 percent of their total revenue, showed a survey by Chaebul.com.

The Fair Trade Commission is currently pushing to present a revision bill that would require holding companies to publicize the brand use fees.
