STOCKHOLM (AP) ― Russian pole vaulter Yelena Isinbayeva will make her Diamond League debut at the DN Galan meet in Stockholm on July 29.
Isinbayeva took a break from competition last year and skipped the inaugural Diamond League season. The world record-holder made her season debut in Belgium last weekend, jumping 4.60 meters to win a meet in Heusden ― her first outdoor competition since September 2009.

The two-time Olympic and world champion jumped 4.85 at the DN Galan in 2008.
Meet director Rajne Soderberg said, “Yelena is a magnificent athlete and it’s a pleasure to welcome her back.”
Isinbayeva is set to compete in Lignano, Italy, later Tuesday followed by a meet in Lucerne, Switzerland, on Thursday, as she prepares for the world championships in South Korea.
Tamgho out of track worlds with broken ankle
PARIS (AP) ― Triple jumper Teddy Tamgho will miss the track world championships with a broken ankle.
The 22-year-old Frenchman was injured at the European U23 championships in Ostrava on Saturday, and he confirmed on his Facebook page Tuesday that he would be unable to compete again this season.
Tamgho set a new world indoor record with a jump of 17.92 meters when he won the European indoor title in March.
He was expected to be the main challenger to defending champion Phillips Idowu at the world championships in Daegu, South Korea, which begin Aug. 27.
Tamgho beat Idowu with a world-leading jump of 17.91 in Lausanne in June.
