Finnair named northern Europe’s best airline for four straight years

Finnair has been named northern Europe’s best airline by the Skytrax 2013 World Airline Awards for four consecutive years. The award is given based on a survey of 18 million travelers from more than 160 countries on their overall airline experiences. The passenger survey asks customers to rate their satisfaction with areas including check-in, boarding, seat comfort, cabin cleanliness, food, beverages, in-flight entertainment and staff service. The World Airline Awards, given by Skytrax, a U.K.-based consultancy group, are regarded as the primary benchmark for airline passenger satisfaction.
