Basic KLPT test applications close Friday

Applications for the Basic Korean Language Proficiency Test on Jan. 30 will close Friday.

The Basic KLPT is designed for beginner Korean-language learners who have taken between 150 and 200 hours of lessons and tests listening, grammar and reading.

The Basic KLPT is held quarterly at nine centers around the country and is designed at a lower level than the main KLPT, which takes place in spring and autumn. Unlike the main KLPT, there is no conversation test in the Basic KLPT.

To register, applications must visit their nearest test center. For a list of centers and to download an application form, visit www.klpt.org.
