New Apple CEO Cook mourns loss of 'visionary' Jobs

SAN FRANCISCO (AFP) -- Apple's new CEO Tim Cook on Wednesday mourned the loss of company co-founder Steve Jobs, who died Wednesday from cancer at age 56.

"Apple has lost a visionary and creative genius, and the world has lost an amazing human being," said Cook, who took the company helm in August. "Steve leaves behind a company that only he could have built, and his spirit will forever be the foundation of Apple."
