The capital will revamp its homepage for tourists, improving its search ability to better suit foreigners that visit the city each year, said officials on Tuesday.
According to the Seoul Metropolitan Government, the city’s homepage will be upgraded to offer an easier way for tourists to search for and access information through various multimedia devices, which will be launched on Wednesday.
The revamp will also streamline information so that users may access all of Seoul’s seven separate tourist arms, including the Seoul Convention Bureau and Innostel, short for innovative hostels.
The Visit Seoul homepage is currently available in Korean, Chinese, English and Japanese.
Tourists from Japan and Chinese-speaking countries will also be offered theater and movie information online, and a reservation system all on the site.
The capital completely overhauled the food and restaurant section of the English site in an effort to accommodate the growing popularity of Korean cuisine.
