‘화나면 무서운 동물들’ 정말 포악하네

최근 한 온라인 커뮤니티에 ‘화나면 무서운 동물들’이라는 제목의 게시물이 화제다. 이 게시물은 울버린, 코뿔소, 북극곰 등을 겉보기에는 귀엽지만 화나면 포악한 대표적인 동물로 꼽았다.

울버린은 성질이 사나우면서도 악취가 심해 곰이나 퓨마 같은 포악한 맹수들도 자기 먹이를 버리고 피할 정도다. 울버린은 영화 제목으로 유명해 낯설지 않은 이름으로, 귀여운 외모에 비해 폭군 기질이 다분하다.

또 주름이 자글자글하고 유순한 표정의 코뿔소는 본래 기질이 사나워 커다란 뿔로 짐승들을 위협하며 자기영역에 침입자가 들어오면 뿔로 들이 받는다고 한다.

북극곰은 귀여운 외모와는 달리 북극 동물 중 최상위 포식자다. 잔혹한 육식 성질은 아기 곰이라고 해서 다르지 않다. 북극곰은 배가 고프면 물개 등 포유류를 닥치는 대로 잡아먹는 것으,로 알려져 있다.

특히 이 외에 아프리카코끼리, 회색곰 등 화나면 무서운 동물들이 전세계적으로 포진해 서식하고 있는 것으로 나타났다.
