“I don’t eat land animals, but I like eating sea animals. I love dogs, but I wear leather shoes,” she wrote.

She went on to say, “I don’t drink milk, but I love ice cream. Fireflies are beautiful (so I cannot kill them), but I kill mosquitos. I love the forest, but I ruin it by building a house. I don’t eat pork, but I bow before a pig’s head during traditional rituals.”

“I am well-known, but I want to live a quiet life. I don’t want to be forgotten. I am simple, but rich. I just wanted to confess about my ironic life.”

Lee, 35, debuted as a member of first-generation K-pop girl group Fin.K.L in 1998. After the team was disbanded, she began her solo activities, with her award-winning song “10 Minutes” that created a sensation at the K-pop scene.

The sexy icon of the early 2000s has often been at the center of controversy over plagiarism, social activities and her decision to become a vegetarian.

Lee moved to Jejudo Island, off the southern coast, with guitarist Lee Sang-soon after they tied the knot last September. Lee recently started blogging to share her countryside life on the island.
