Chinese actor Gao Ziqi kneeled down to propose to South Korean actress Chaerim on Sunday in Beijing, China.
Local news reports say it was a perfect event with the three must-need things for a marriage proposal -- a romantic song, glowing ring and beautiful kiss.

Around 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, Gao Ziqi sang the song “I Believe,” originally sung by South Korean ballad singer Shin Seung-hun, for Chaerim in front of the public, holding a bundle of red roses.
The 33-year-old actor then bent down on one knee and handed over flowers and a ring to Chaerim. She responded by giving him a kiss and hug.

“Today is the most important day of my life. From now on, we realize, have fun, share joy and take responsibility together,” Gao Ziqi wrote on his Weibo account.
He added, “I will love, protect and cherish you as mine with all my strength. I will study Korean hard, and learn how to cook your favorite meals.”
Gao Ziqi went on to express his love for Chaerim by saying, “I won’t make you lonely in China. Let’s have a happy family.”

In response to the heartfelt proposal, Chaerim said, “I was so moved today. Thank you, Gao Ziqi, for making me know what this feels like. Love you.”
Earlier this month, Chaerim confirmed that she is to wed Gao Ziqi this October though the exact date for the wedding ceremony is yet to be decided.
The two went public with their romantic relationship in March, confirming that they had been dating for three to four months. They first met while shooting a Chinese TV drama, in which they played wife and husband.
Chaerim’s previous marriage, with South Korean veteran singer Lee Seung-hwan, ended in divorce in 2006 after just three years of marriage.
