[Asian Games] S. Korean fencers win gold in men's team sabre

  South Korea's male fencers claimed the team sabre title at the Asian Games Wednesday, bringing home the first Asiad gold in the event in 12 years.

   The team of Gu Bon-gil, Kim Jung-hwan, Oh Eun-seok and Won Woo-young romped the Iranian side of Mojtaba Abedini Shormasti Seyed Ali Esmaeilzadeh Pakdaman, Mohammad Rahbarikoyakhi and Farzad Baher Arasbaran 45-26 in the men's sabre team gold-medal match in Goyang Gymnasium, on the outskirts of Incheon, the host city of the 17th Asiad.

   South Korea's gold, its first in 12 years, ended China's Asiad winning streak at two. South Korea won the men's team sabre in 2002, while China swept the 2006 and 2010 crowns.

   Bronze medals went to China and Hong Kong. (Yonhap)
