I would like to express my deepest gratitude to The Korea Herald and consumers for having selected the advertisement for the LG DIOS Refrigerator featuring a water-and-ice dispenser as one of the winners of the paper’s 2014 Advertising Awards.

Since the release of the refrigerator models that were equipped with the dispenser in 2013, LG Electronics has been rolling out a variety of models, including the bottom-freezer refrigerator, which was exceptionally well received in the market.

It was at first deemed difficult to combine a refrigerator with a water dispenser due mainly to hygiene and space issues, but we at LG overcame the difficulties through superior technology and expertise, including the three-layer water filtration system and stainless steel water tank.

And to make sure our clients are given constant access to clean water and ice, the maintenance teams at LG Electronics pay regular visits.

We also want to say that the ad for which LG has won the award began with the aim of expressing the company’s confidence in its technology to provide clean water to people everywhere.

We at LG will continue in our endeavors to create new values for consumers and try to solidify our leadership in the fridge market by making innovative products.
