Tom Hardy plays Ronald and Reggie Kray, identical twin gangsters who ruled the East End of London during the 1960s. “Legend” shows how the two brothers built their criminal empire, touching upon their internal struggles as well as their run from the detective Nipper Read (Christopher Eccleston).

In “Timing,” a film adaptation of the webtoon series of the same title by renowned cartoonist Kang Full, high school teacher Park Ja-gi dreams that a serial murder will take place at her school in the near future. Unable to shake off the feeling of impending doom, she attempts to change the course of events with the help of four others who each have the supernatural gift of stopping time, rewinding it, and foreseeing the future. Time, however, does not prove to be so malleable.

Jeong-hun (Yoon Kye-sang) pretends to be cool as he goes to his ex-girlfriend’s wedding, but it doesn’t last long. He ends up getting drunk and taking a girl (Han Ye-ri) home, who turns out to be the ex-girlfriend of the groom. They reach an agreement to console each other’s heartbreak as “friends with benefits,” but they end up developing deeper feelings for one another.


Inside Men (Korea)

Crime drama. Directed by Woo Min-ho

The stink of corruption is everywhere in “Inside Men,” where top players in politics, media, and the criminal world intertwine their fates together through mutual support. Together, they are unstoppable, but when one side turns traitor the house of cards comes tumbling down.
