Junsu of South Korean boy band JYJ will throw a solo outdoor showcase in Seoul, his star agency said Friday.
The 29-year-old heartthrob will perform in the patio near the east gate of COEX, southern Seoul, at 7:30 p.m. on May 30, according to C-JeS Entertainment.
The event is organized to promote his fourth full-length solo album "Xignature," to be released the same day.
His showcase will be broadcast in real time through "1theK," an online broadcast channel operated by South Korean music streaming service MelON, for his global fans.
"This is an open event for everyone to check out Junsu's first live performance of his new album," said an official of C-Jes Entertainment.
The lead song of "Xignature" is "Rock the World," a dance pop song buffed up with hip hop beats. The song is written by Junsu and composed by Automatic, who is also the songwriter of the lead song of the singer's second album, "Incredible."
Apart from his JYJ team engagements, Junsu has busied himself with solo activities in the past few years. He released his first full-length solo album "Tarantallegra" in May 2012. His second album, "Incredible," came in July 2013 and third album, "Flower," in March 2015. (Yonhap)
