A former middle school principal was sentenced to 18 months in prison and 80 hours of rehabilitation program after he was found to have made inappropriate physical contact with female pupils during his term in office.
The 57-year-old has been indicted under charges of summoning a 14-year-old to his office and later stroking her face and kissing her on the lips. The student had returned to school during the vacation period for an extracurricular baking class.

Another victim said he had patted female students’ derrieres, touched their backs and sometimes touched the nametags on their chest.
Some of the victims’ parents had raised complaints about his inappropriate behavior, however, the principal had denied all accusations.
The case was surfaced to the authorities after a student from the school posted an open complaint on social media.
According to the Incheon District Court, the principal had claimed that his touching and kissing of students had stemmed from an educator’s love for them.
He held the principal position between August 2013 and July 2015.
