Paypal is a digital payment service that allows transactions to go through after a simple identity verification process, without having to enter a credit card number for each transaction.

Although it is not a popular service in Korea, it is the largest digital payment system in the world with 170 million global users making payments in 26 different currencies.

Korean passengers booking flights on T’way can currently use Kakao Pay from DaumKakao, while Chinese passengers have the option of using Alipay, run by Alibaba.

T’way Airlines said through a statement that it will actively seek to introduce additional payment systems to make payment transactions more convenient for its passengers from all over the world.
