Kumho Industrial (002990) has signed a 79.6 billion won (US$68.7 million) contract to build apartment buildings in Yangju, Gyeonggi Province, with a real estate investment company for public rental housing funded by Korea Land & Housing and National Housing and Urban Fund, it announced on June 30. This amounts to 5.2 percent of its recent revenue.
