Dongkuk Steel Mill (001230) reported on July 11 that its operating profit rose to 99 billion won (US$85.6 million) in the second quarter, a 156.4 percent leap from the same period last year. The revenue decreased by 1.5 percent to 1.2 trillion won and net profit fell 59.6 percent to 36.5 billion won.
