[STOCK WATCH] KOPLA edges up 1.62%

[THE INVESTOR]

On Sept. 13 KOPLA (126600) increased 1.62% to 15,650 won (US$13.98). It had declined 7.1% through the past month. Standard deviation, which indicates variableness, records 1.8% over the same period of time over one month.

Compared with its close competitors within the same industry, KOSDAQ, since the monthly volatility of KOPLA was the lowest, the earnings rate over one month was also relatively lower than that of its peer group. Over the recent month, the return-on-risk, the return on investment with consideration about risk, was -3.9%. Though the volatility was the lowest among its peer group, the return-on-risk was low as stock price decline. However, the return-on-risk is much better than the industrial mean, -8.0, and thus the industrial comparison performance was positive.
