SK C&C, an IT service unit of South Korea’s conglomerate SK Group, established a logistics joint venture called FSK L&S with Jusda to jointly boost the ICT technology-based logistics business, the company said Friday. Jusda is a logistics subsidiary of the Taiwanese company, Foxconn.

The two parties unveiled a comprehensive logistics solution brand Kerol that can track and monitor the flow of the logistics in real-time in any region, and also suggests the fastest route. This is a new ICT technology-based logistics platform that utilizes consulting, Internet of Things, artificial intelligence and big data, SK C&C said.
It will promote its latest solution platform to over 200 customer companies of Jusda and SK C&C in 2017.
Next month, FSK L&S will also carry out legal procedures for logistics business process outsourcing in China. It is also preparing for an online logistics business between Korea and China.
“(FSK L&S) will achieve logistics innovation by utilizing the ICT technology and hope to contribute to boosting the competitiveness of Korean companies,” said Ko Jae-beom who will head the new company. Ko is in charge of logistics business at SK C&C.
