Select students from the annual Mercedes-Benz Mobile Academy won the opportunity to visit the luxury auto giant’s headquarters in Stuttgart, Germany, the company said Tuesday.

The Mobile Academy is an industry-academy joint project run by the carmaker, aimed to nurture and develop students looking to pursue a career in the automotive industry.

Fifteen students were selected from a pool of 72 academy participants. From Jan. 17 to 23, the winners were able to visit the Mercedes-Benz Museum, global training center and classic center, Sindelfingen assembly lines and the Unimog Museum.

“I am greatly pleased to provide an opportunity for the Mobile Academy students who are going to lead the next generation of the automotive industry to experience technology and culture of Mercedes-Benz,” said Dimitris Psillakis, Mercedes-Benz CSR Committee Chairman and Mercedes-Benz Korea CEO and president, in a press release.

“We will continue our efforts and attention to raise competent service employees.”
