Doosan Heavy Industries & Construction Co., South Korea's top power equipment maker, said Monday that its British affiliate has clinched a 30 billion-won ($26.6 million) deal to build a plant that transforms waste into energy.

In June, the Doosan Heavy unit also won a 87.5 billion-won deal to build a water purification facility.
In 2012, Doosan Heavy acquired Enpure in a bid to strengthen its desalination business. (Yonhap)
