Choi Min-sik and Park Shin-hye are set to star in the upcoming thriller “Silence,” which is slated to hit local theaters in November.
Acclaimed actor Choi will star as Im Tae-san, the chairman of a conglomerate who possesses wealth, honor, power and love but is at risk of losing it all.
“What kind of choice can a person make when faced with the possibility of losing your loved ones?” Choi said in a press release Wednesday.

Park will play a passionate lawyer who helps Choi’s character.
The film will also star Ryu Jun-yeol and Lee Ha-nee. It is helmed by director Jung Ji-woo, who directed the drama film “A Muse” (2012), which centered on a treacherous romance between a high-school girl, played by Kim Go-eun, and an elderly poet, played by Park Hae-il.

The upcoming film has been produced by Yong Film and will be distributed by CJ Entertainment.
