중국에서 야생동물 1만여 마리를 트럭에 싣고 달리던 일당이 경찰에 체포됐다.
해당 트럭은 장시성 난창시의 한 도로에서 붙잡혔다고 외신은 지난 16일 전했다.
트럭에는 시향고양이, 왜가리, 고슴도치 등 여러 종류의 야생동물이 철창에 갇힌 채 가득 담겨있었으며, 그 중 일부는 멸종위기에 처한 동물들이었다.
경찰은 야생동물 밀거래 일당은 지난주부터 추적하다 시민의 제보를 받고 출동했다.
몇몇 동물들은 식용으로 불법거래될 예정이었다고 외신은 전한다.
