Noul, a startup founded in 2015, has been invited to the Grand Challenges Meeting every year since its foundation.
At this year’s meeting, the firm showcased its diagnostics solution for Malaria in a poster presentation and was awarded the people’s choice award for best presentation.
MiLab’s Malaria diagnostics empower people in resource-limited settings to conduct morphology-based Malaria diagnoses without costly infrastructure investment and trained lab technicians.
The core technology in the miLab contains the patented Next Generation Staining and Immunoassay technology (NGSI) enabling full automation of the entire testing process from the sample slide preparation to highly accurate diagnosis by artificial intelligence.
MiLab is expected to launch in mid-2020.
