Haevichi Hotel and Resorts unveils Lunar New Year gifts

Haevichi Hotel and Resorts is offering new, limited-edition gift sets for the upcoming Lunar New Year's holiday.

The sets include pine mushrooms, abalone in soy sauce, perilla oil bibim sauce and a hanwoo sukiyaki meal kit, handpicked by the chefs at Haevichi restaurants.

Hanwoo refers to premium Korean beef.

The Lunar New Year's gift sets are available on Haevichi’s official website.

Gift sets can be ordered in person or by phone from Haevichi Hotel and Resort Jeju’s gift shop, Marie, until Monday.

Four Seasons Hotel presents culinary package

The Four Seasons Hotel has launched its “Stay & Dine” package for the winter vacation and upcoming Lunar New Year's holiday.

The package offers a one-night stay and a voucher worth 150,000 won that can be used at the hotel's restaurants and bars, including Chinese restaurant Yu Yuan, Japanese restaurant Akira Back, Italian restaurant Boccalino and lobby lounge Maru, among others.

The “Stay & Dine” package includes access to the hotel’s fitness club, golf zone and indoor swimming pool as well.

The package is available until March 17.

Kolon Resort and Hotel launches Lunar New Year promotion

The Kolon Resort and Hotel in Gyeongju, North Gyeongsang Province, presents its “New Year Dish” promotion for guests looking to experience the Lunar New Year holiday in Korea.

Visitors can enjoy tteokguk, a Korean staple commonly enjoyed on the first day of the Lunar New Year, as well as various types of “jeon,” a savory Korean-style pancake, rice cakes and more.

The Kolon Resort and Hotel also offers guests a special fortune cookie upon checkout.

Guests can also enjoy the “Make New Year” package, which offers a dragon-themed DIY kit for “ddakji” -- a traditional game played using folded paper tiles.

The promotion will run through Feb. 29.

Hanwha Resort Pyeongchang presents winter sports package

Hanwha Resort Pyeongchang is offering a special all-in-one package for winter sports enthusiasts.

The “Extreme Winter In Pyeongchang” package features a one-night stay and breakfast. Guests may choose from a free six-hour lift ticket, a ticket to be used at the sledding park or ski or snowboard rental at the nearby ski resort, Phoenix Park, in Pyeongchang, Gangwon Province.

The promotion offers a 55 percent discount and is available until Feb. 28.

Grand Hyatt Seoul offers US prime beef promotion

The Grand Hyatt Seoul’s Steak House has launched new promotions for guests to try top-rated American prime beef.

Collaborating with the US Meat Export Federation, the top-rated American beef is dry-aged with a Bourbon whiskey flavor and is roasted in a charcoal oven.

The restaurant offers porterhouse, T-bone and L-bone steaks with a glass of wine.

The promotion runs through Feb. 18.
