Mongolian BBQ at Grand Hilton Seoul

Grand Hilton Seoul’s buffet restaurant is kicking off the spring season with an outdoor Mongolian BBQ promotion at the restaurant‘s terrace. Guests will be able to select from a range of quality meat including beef, pork, chicken and lamb, as well as seafood such as shrimp, scallops and squid. The chefs will be barbequing the meat selected by the guests in Mongolian style on the spot. The restaurant’s ingredients are all purchased from Agrosuper, one of the first agricultural organizations recognized by the United Nations for its positive environmental practices. The outdoor BBQ promotion is available every Friday-Sunday as well as on holidays. The BBQ promotion is priced at 65,000 won for lunch and 70,000 won on weekdays; and 70,000 won for lunch and 78,000 won for dinner, on weekends. All prices are inclusive of tax and service charge. Kids’ Buffet at Sheraton Seoul D Cube City Hotel

Sheraton Seoul D Cube City Hotel’s signature restaurant Feast is offering a special buffet promotion in celebration of Children’s Day on May 4-5. The restaurant will offer its regular buffet as well as a special kids‘ zone where the children can enjoy their favorite dishes and take part in a variety of activities. The regular buffet will include various dishes at the live corner, noodle station, grill station, and seafood station. Special dishes for children such as cube cakes, mountain chocolate, fries, pumpkin gratin, cookies, candies, and more will be available as well. The kids can receive fun tattoo stickers and small gifts prepared by the hotel. The lunch buffet is priced at 60,000 won for adults and 30,000 won for children; the dinner buffet at 80,000 won for adults and 40,000 won for children; and the brunch buffet at 85,000 won for adults and 42,500 won for children. Children’s Day / Family Month brunch specials at Park Hyatt Seoul

Park Hyatt Seoul’s main restaurant Cornerstone is presenting special promotions in celebration of Children’s Day and May, the “Month of Family.” On May 3-5, a special brunch will feature not only the restaurant’s signature brunch menus including various appetizers, meats, seafood and desserts, but also children’s favorites such as mini burgers, French fries, snowman-shaped macarons, lollipops, marshmallows, cupcakes and cookies. A self-baking cupcake session and a family photo booth will be set up for children and their families. Throughout the month of May, the weekend brunch will be available for free for children under the age of 13 (born after Jan. 1, 2002) in celebration of the “Month of Family.” The weekend brunch is available on Saturday and Sunday from 11:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. (the special Children’s Day brunch offered on May 3-5). BBQ Happy Hour at Millennium Seoul Hilton

Millennium Seoul Hilton’s English-style bar Oak Room is presenting the outdoor BBQ Happy Hour until Oct. 31. Every evening, except Sundays and national holidays, the bar will host a BBQ buffet in its outdoor terrace, where diners can enjoy various grilled meats, sausages, and seafood as well as side dishes, salads and unlimited drinks. Guests can choose from unlimited draft beer, wine or soft drinks. The BBQ Happy Hour is available for 47,000 won (an additional 5,000 won for Heineken or Asahi draft beer, and an additional 13,000 won for premium wines and Guinness draft beer). New Japanese Kaiseki master at Imperial Palace Seoul

Imperial Palace Seoul’s Japanese restaurant Manyo has recruited a new Japanese chef and master of Kaiseki cuisine, Nakazuma Satoru, in celebration of the hotel’s 25th anniversary. Nakazuma, born to a prestigious chef family, specializes in Kaiseki cuisine of Kyoto. Many deem it as premium traditional Japanese cuisine featuring an appetizer, clear soup, sashimi, a grilled dish, a boiled dish, a steamed dish, vinegar sashimi, a meal and desert. Nakazuma has worked as a chef at Iimperial Hotel Tokyo’s Japanese restaurant Isecho, the Kansai Katbo Head office, Hilton Hotel, Garden Hotel Miemaehira and Soowooen Aoyama. He has been ranked as No. 1 by the reputable Japanese restaurant business magazine, Otonano Shmazu, (Weekend for Adult). He also has been among top 10 chefs in the Kanto area for his Kaiseki and Ryokan dishes. Nakazuma was appointed as a preceptor at the Japanese Cook Skill Society and is currently the Director of Technique at the Japanese Cuisine Research Associate Inc.
