The Seoul Global Center will begin an eight-month Storytelling Class for Mothers & Children in April.
Open to international spouses and children aged 4-9, the classes run from April 7 to Nov. 24 and are aimed at helping master storytelling and the Korean language.
The classes are open in two levels each for children and parents. The children’s classes require beginner Korean and the adult classes require intermediate level. The lower level class is 11 a.m.-12:30 p.m. and the second class runs 1:30-3 p.m.
The course is free but requires a deposit of 30,000 won refundable with 80 percent attendance, and there is a certificate fee of 50,000 won for those who complete the course. Students are also required to pay for their text books.
Applicants must visit the Seoul Global Center in person to register on Saturday between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m.
