Koo named KLPGA president

LS Networks chairman Koo Ja-yong became the new president of the Korea Ladies Professional Golf Association.

The KLPGA said Tuesday its board directors and representatives unanimously agreed to have Koo as the association’s 12th president.

Koo is to officially take office on Friday after the KLPGA congress and lead the association until 2016.

LS Networks is a retail company that has sports and outdoor fashion brands such as Prospecs, Skechers, Mont-Bell and Jack Wolfskin.
