Ji Sung, Park Bo-young chosen best Korean TV actors

Park Bo-young, the heroine of the Korean TV series "Oh My Ghostess," has received best actress from an annual drama awards hosted by an American online Asian drama-streaming site.

Park won the honor on Monday (local time) for her role as the assistant chef of a restaurant possessed by a lustful, virgin ghost, in the Korean cable TV channel tvN's 2015 romantic comedy series.

"I'm so thrilled because this is my first time to receive an award like this," Park said during the awards ceremony of the 4th DramaFever Awards in New York City. She added that she wants to share the honor with the other cast and crew of the drama.

DramaFever is one of North America's leading Korean drama streaming services with a monthly average of nearly 20 million users.

In the awards where the winners were chosen by the votes of about 1.9 million users, the best actor went to Ji Sung for his starring role in the 2015 MBC drama series "Kill Me, Heal Me."

K-pop boy band Super Junior's Choi Si-won received best assistant actor for the MBC series "Pretty Woman," while Kim Seul-gi of "Oh My Ghostess" clinched the best assistant actress award.(Yonhap)
