The Korea World Travel Fair, Korea’s leading travel show, kicked off Thursday at COEX in southern Seoul, introducing the latest travel trends and travel products.
Fifty-two countries present their products and services in a vast hall of the convention center. The participating countries include countries with popular travel destinations such as the Maldives, the Seychelles, Guam and the Philippines to Zimbabwe, Gabon and Rwanda.
Korean travel agencies also offer domestic travel information, as well as various culture programs, including craft making.
More fun awaits visitors to the folk dance performances of 17 countries, including India, Thailand, Malaysia and Vietnam and a lucky draw that provides free round-trip airline tickets and travel packages. Admission is 3,000 won for adults and 2,000 won for teenagers.
The fair opens from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. until June 2 at COEX Hall A on the first floor of the convention hall.
