사파리 투어에 나선 일행이 사자의 사냥을 간접적으로 체험했다.

남아프리카 공화국의 나탈 사자공원(Natal Lion Park)에서 사파리 체험을 하던 일행은 놀란 가슴을 부여잡아야 했다. 사자 한 마리가 그들을 추격해, 예비 타이어에 올라탔기 때문이다.
운전자는 사자가 떨어지기를 바라며 속도를 높였지만, 사자는 그럴수록 타이어를 더욱 꽉 깨 물뿐이었다.
덕분에 일행은 사자의 이빨을 그 누구보다 가까이서 볼 수 있었다.
