LG그룹 구본무 회장이 20일 숙환으로 별세했다.

향년 73세.

LG그룹 관계자는 이날 구 회장이 가족이 지켜보는 다운데 평화롭게 영면에 들었 다고 밝혔다. 고인은 지난해에 이어 올해 초 수차례 뇌수출을 받았으며, 통원 치료 를 하다가 최근 상태가 악화하면서 입원한 것으로 알려졌다.

유족 측은 조용하고 간소하게 장례를 치르기를 원했던 고인의 유지와 유족의 뜻 에 따라 비공개로 가족장을 치르기로 했다. (연합뉴스)
