Branksome Hall Asia, the first overseas campus of a premier all-girls independent school in North America, will hold an admissions information session at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 8, in the Orchid Room at Grand Intercontinental Seoul Parnas Hotel.
According to the school’s PR representative KPR on Thursday, Branksome Hall Asia, which opens in Jeju Global Education city in October, is accepting boys and girls for preschool to grade 3, and only girls for grades 4 through 12. For its foundation year, admission is open through grade 10 only.
In 2010, 93 percent of Branksome Hall graduates were offered entrance scholarships. Branksome Hall Asia will offer the internationally recognized International Baccalaureate Program for all grades. Also, it offers the Branksome Advantage Exchange Program, which allows students to go on exchanges with partner schools around the world as an integrated part of the curriculum package for grades 7-12.
Branksome Hall Asia will operate the STEM-V Center, an institution for Science, Technology, Engineering, Math and Visual Arts, in which women’s advancement has been traditionally weak. The Golf & Tennis Academy, Yoga and Fitness Studios, Olympic Aquatics Center and Outdoor Sports Fields will be available for a more balanced life and learning experience for students.
Based in one of the world’s most technologically advanced countries, Branksome Hall Asia will adopt ubiquitous learning through its Learning Management System, where students and parents can access information regarding academic programs and student portfolios as well as day-to-day organizational information.
To attend the information session, RSVP to events@branksomehallasia.org. For any other admission inquiries, contact the Admissions Office at (02) 6456-8402 or e-mail admissions@branksomehallasia.org.
