Celebrating its 69th year, LIFF will take place in Locarno, Switzerland from Aug. 3-13.
“I feel that Locarno 69 is one of the most varied, free, surprising editions to date, both in its guest list and in its line-up of titles,” said the festival’s artistic director Carlo Chatrian in a statement.
At the 2015 event, Korean director Hong Sang-soo’s “Right Now, Wrong Then” took home two awards, including the top Golden Leopard prize and Best Actor for Jung Jae-young.
Featuring actors Ha Jung-woo, Bae Doona and Oh Dal-su, “Tunnel” is set to open in local theaters on Aug. 10.
