산 채로 물어뜯기는 염소...‘냉혹한’ 먹이사슬

잔인하다.

하이에나 한 마리가 숫염소를 쓰러뜨리고 뒷다리를 사정없이 물어뜯는다.

염소는 헐떡이며 저항하지만 이미 기력이 쇠진했다.

하이에나는 사냥감이 울부짖건 말건 뒷다리를 몸통에서 뜯어내 한 점 한 점 씹어 먹는다.

산 채로 다리가 뜯겨나가는 염소. 거친 숨을 몰아쉬다 생을 마감한다.

약육강식의 법칙으로 돌아가는 자연계에서 생존이란 이처럼 냉혹하다.
