팝여제 마돈나, “행복이란 없다”

'만인의 연인' 마돈나가 정작 자신은 “단 한번도 행복했던 적이 없다”고 말했다.

마돈나는 하퍼스바자와 한 인터뷰에서 “늘 우울했다”고 말했다. 이어 “이는 개인적 삶을 포기하고 일에 몰두했기 때문”이라고 설명했다.

그럼에도 그는 가수활동을 멈추지 않겠다고 선언했다. 그는 “어머니가 세상을 떠난뒤 온갖 슬픔과 서러움을 이겨낼 수 있었던 원동력이 바로 음악”이라고 말했다.
