The energetic duo TVXQ held their first solo concert in Korea in four years, marking the start of the “TVXQ! Tour World Tour Catch Me.”
The group held two performances over the weekend at Olympic Park in Seoul, drawing in 25,000 fans, with tickets selling out in just three minutes.
The members U-Know Yunho and Max Changmin performed a myriad of their hit tracks including “Rising Sun,” “Keep your head down,” “Mirotic” and “I’ll be there” and wowed the crowd with their group choreography and stage effects.
During the performance, the duo also revealed their newest electro-pop dance single, “Humanoid,” which shows off the member’s tightly choreographed robotic dance moves, much in keeping with the theme of the band’s sixth studio album, “Catch Me.” Nearly 250,000 copies have been sold since the newest album’s release in September. “Humanoid” is the follow-up single to the group’s newest title track, “Catch Me,” and is scheduled to be released on Nov. 26.
In January of this year, the group launched their first-ever solo Japan tour, selling out at stadiums across the country and attracting half a million Japanese fans ― the largest for any Korean artist.
The “Catch Me” world tour will take the duo to various countries across Asia and the world. The boys will soon head off to perform in Singapore on Friday and Bangkok on Sunday as part of the “SMTown Live World Tour III.”
