The dancing machine Psy has begun another promotional tour with a trip to the land down under, performing on the music reality TV show “X Factor” and morning show “Sunrise.”
Psy’s fame among his Aussie fans is still red hot as “Gangnam Style” is currently ranked number one on Australia’s ARIA singles chart.
As the brains behind the addictive horse dance choreography sets off around the world on his promotional tours, he has revealed that his next single will be in English, and that he is feeling the pressure of having to follow up such a record-breaking hit in “Gangnam Style.”

The singer told Newsbeat, a BBC radio program, “The second single is going to be in English. And the thing is, it’s too much pressure to overcome ‘Gangnam Style’. It’s really hard.
“The problem is my music video is more popular than I am. That’s a big problem for me right now, so I’ve got to overcome my music video first,” he said.
Although “Gangnam Style” chart numbers have been slipping recently with the song remaining stagnant at the number two spot on the U.S. Billboard chart for the third consecutive week and the official announcement on Monday that the song has fallen to the third spot on the U.K. Top 100 Billboard chart, the rapper is still looking to promote his newly-found international fame.
He said that in order for him to promote himself, “I’ve got to go everywhere.”
