지난 16일 일반에 공개된 남아공의 모 국립공원 사건이다.

이번에도 나일악어는 잔뜩 노리고 숨죽인 채 매복하고 있었다. 홈에서 사자 한 번 잡겠다는 것.

어쩌면 이는 하늘이 점지한 대어, 그것도 수컷이다.

녀석은 상대가 강 건너는 길목에서 살짝 비켜서 있었다.

그리고 사자가 뭍으로 나가려는 순간 뒤에서 몸을 날린다. 악어의 공격은 종이 한 장 차로 적중하지 못했다.

그럼에도 영역 침입자에 대한 단죄는 어쨌든 성공했다고 볼 수 있다.
