벵골호랑이가 스리랑카느림보곰의 영역에 몰래 침투했다. 녀석은 덜 자란 곰의 안면을 마구 폭행하는 등 만행을 일삼고 있었다.

녀석은 그러나 이를 목격한 어미의 거센 반격에 맞서야 했다.

‘질식 수비’가 따로 없었다. 속사포로 퍼붓는 녀석의 공격을 다 막아내며 완강히 저항하는 어미곰.

전세는 어느새 역전됐고 힘빠진 침입자가 얻어터지는 지경에 이르렀다.

혀를 내두를 수밖에 없던 호랑이는 다잡은 먹이를 순순히 내줘야 했다.
