N. Korea to withdraw all of its workers from Gaeseong

North Korea on Monday said it is withdrawing all its workers form joint industrial complex in Gaeseong.

The announcement came while Kim Yang-gon, the North's secretary in charge of South Korean affairs, was visiting the industrial park.

"We will temporarily halt the operation of the complex, and will consider shutting it down," Kim said in a statement. He added that South Korea is “completely responsible” for how the situation will turn out in the future.

The statement was carried by the Korean Central News Agency (KCNA) and was monitored in Seoul. Pyongyang also said follow-up measures will be implemented after reviewing actions taken by the South.
