A comic book narrating the growth of K-pop sensation BTS from trainees to a global pop sensation, as well as their recent transition to enlistment, will be released in the US, according to a news outlet on Friday.

According to Reuters, US comic book and graphic novel publisher TidalWave Productions will release a 22-page comic book centered on BTS in its latest edition of the "Fame" series.

TidalWave Productions' "Fame" series introduces the life stories of singers, actors and sports stars in the form of comic books. Previously featured global stars have included Beyonce, Taylor Swift, 50 Cent, Jennifer Lawrence and David Beckham.

The series' latest edition, "Fame: BTS," written by Eric M. Esquivel and turned into a cartoon book by artist Lucy Fidelis Arts, will focus on the stories of the BTS members from their debut in 2013 to their rise as a global pop sensation.

The comic book will also cover the stories of their individual military enlistment process, starting with eldest member Jin in 2022, and portray their transformation from pop stars to soldiers.

"Fame: BTS" is scheduled to hit shelves of offline US bookstores and digital platforms including Amazon on Wednesday.
