이라크 수도 바그다드에서 21일(현지시간) 차량 폭발로 11명이 숨지고 42명이 부상했다고 관리들이 밝혔다.
경찰은 이날 바그다드 남동쪽 알아민 지역의 채소 시장 주변에 주차돼 있던 차 량이 폭발돼 인명 피해가 발생하고 주변 차량 몇 대가 파손됐다고 밝혔다.
그러나 이 폭발이 테러인지, 누구의 소행인지 여부 등은 즉각 알려지지 않았다.
또 바그다드 동북부 알샤브 지역에서도 노상에서 폭발사고가 발생해 3명이 숨 지고 5명이 다쳤다고 경찰이 밝혔다. (연합)

A car bombing in a Baghdad neighborhood killed 11 people and wounded 42 on Monday, Iraqi officials said.
The police officials said the parked car exploded near a vegetable market in the Iraqi capital’s southeastern neighborhood of al-Ameen. No one immediately claimed responsibility for the explosion, which also damaged several cars.
Medical officials confirmed the casualties.
In a separate incident, a roadside bomb killed three people and wounded five in Baghdad’s northeastern district of al-Shaab, according to police and medical officials.
All officials spoke on condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to speak to the media.
Baghdad has for years seen near-daily attacks targeting Iraqi security forces, government officials and civilians by car bombs, suicide bombings and roadside explosions.
Many of the larger attacks have been claimed by the Sunni militant Islamic State group, an al-Qaida splinter group that has captured a third of Iraq since its blitz last year. (AP)
