보도에 따르면 영국에서 압 안에 뿌리면 2분 이내로 효과를 기대할 수 있는 스프레이 형태의 비아그라가 개발됐다. 임상실험 등의 절차가 남아 있기 때문에 정식 시판되려면 아직 3년 이상의 기간이 남아있는 것으로 알려졌다.
